Both directions will experience the same transit time if there is no flow. With flux, the signal moves faster with flux and slower with flux.  <!-- \/divi:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p><!-- divi:paragraph -->The measured time difference is directly dependent on the velocity of the fluid through the pipe and is a suitable value for measuring and monitoring the flow of liquids and gases. As the ultrasonic signal travels from one sensor (transmitter) to the other sensor (receiver) through the pipe, only a minimal amount of air bubbles or solids may be present inside the pipe. High-frequency sound will be attenuated if there is a large amount of suspended solids in the pipe, so the signal will be insufficient to reach the other side of the pipe. <\/p>\n<h2>BENEFITS<\/h2>\n<p><!-- divi:paragraph -->Ultrasonic flowmeters are non-intrusive devices well suited for rapid flow measurement. As well as being very versatile, economical, and easy to install, it is also easy to clean.
