Mass Flow meters

FUNCTION

According to the Coriolis principle, the mass flow meter measures flow in kilograms per hour.

A Coriolis double tube mass flow meter consists of two measuring tubes, a tube drive coil, and two electromagnetic sensors.

The excitation coil causes the tubes to oscillate with a certain frequency when no flow is passing through the flow meter. At this point, the signals collected by sensors A and B are in phase with one another.

There will be a phase difference between sensor A and sensor B proportional to the flow rate as the liquid flows through the flow meter as a result of the Coriolis force generated by the excitation coil.

BENEFITS

Since these flowmeters directly measure the volume of a liquid, regardless of density changes that may occur during installation, they are the most accurate in most applications; furthermore, they do not require straight segments for installation, nor are they subject to special conductivity or viscosity requirements. Lastly, they accept significant amounts of suspended solids.

Vibration frequency is determined by the mass of the measuring tube itself and the liquid inside.

The vibration frequency of the measuring tube changes when the density of the liquid changes. The density of the liquid can therefore be calculated. By adjusting the expansion of the measuring tubes, the temperature sensor takes the liquid’s temperature immediately.
